Show Notes

Today’s episode with Travis Ross is not to be missed because we’re talking about scars and childhood wounds – how those experiences shape us but do not define us. In this episode, I sit down with my friend, Travis Ross, to talk about how we learn – and why we continue – to tell ourselves the wrong stories, especially during times of adversity.

In today’s podcast, you’ll also learn how the past is just that, the past – and ways in which to not let it influence or equal your future. Travis Ross is proof positive of that.

Nowadays, Travis Ross is a world-renowned traveling tattoo artist, life coach/motivational speaker/facilitator, entrepreneur, TV personality and Founder of The T.R.Y.B.E Movement. His mission is to spark and evoke emotional intelligence and support people to unlock their highest human potential through creative expression and art.

But Travis wasn’t always focused on his purpose – or even aware of it. Homeless, a drug addict, in a gang, abused … Travis’ past is colored with exceptionally difficult odds. In fact, you might wonder how someone can overcome such a life when the cards are stacked against him. But through it all, there was a burning desire inside him not to fail. Or waste his time. That desire helped him through the hardest of times. Through childhood abuse, drug addiction, medical misdiagnosis, gang violence, and failed relationships. His internal desire not to fail pushed him to limits he didn’t think he could go, facing each new day with a question he finally learned how to answer: WHY AM I HERE?

Listen in as Travis shares his incredible story as well as the truths and techniques he learned to rise above a very long and dark period of his life, so he can now help others do the same.
